In November 2020, pending home sales were down 2.6% month-over-month.
November 2020 brought 6.69 million in sales, a median sales price of $310,800, and 2.3 months of inventory. The median sales price is up 14.6% year over year, and inventory is down 1.4 months from November 2019.
Home showings on homes with Sentrilock lockboxes increased in November compared to one year ago. Nationally, Sentrilock home showings were up 16% year-over-year. Showings rose in the West and Northeast regions, but declined in the Midwest and South regions. As a measure of the diffusion of the change in showings across about 200 MLS boards, the Sentrilock Showings Diffusion Index declined to 29.4.
The National Association of REALTORS® identified the top 10 markets that have shown resilience during this pandemic period and that are expected to perform well in a post-COVID-19 environment. In identifying these markets, NAR considered a variety of indicators that it views to be influential to a metro area’s recovery and growth prospects in a post-pandemic environment in 2021-2022.

In September 2020, pending home sales were down 2.2% month-over-month.
September 2020 brought 6.54 million in sales, a median sales price of $311,800, and 2.7 months of inventory. The median sales price is up 14.8% year over year, and inventory is down 1.3 months from September 2019.
This study shows that a substantial demand for walkability persists for Americans of all ages.
